1990 CHEVROLET C15 SCOTTSDALE - SOLD ON BRING A TRAILER $7,900
Finished in Silver Metallic over Black this truck has a great look to it! Exterior badges have been removed, door and tailgate handles have been blacked out, front bumper and grille wear a gloss black finish that matches the paint as does the rear step bumper. Truck appears to have been repainted at some point but is very presentable showing some rock chips on forward facing surfaces, miner scratches and a couple scratches here and there, small dent is present in left rear fender down low - see detailed photos. (CARFAX shows light front damage – I was told someone backed into it). Features include tinted side windows and dark tinted rear window with 2 piece center sliding rear window, a snap-fit tonneau cover has also been fitted. The grey cloth Scottsdale Interior is in very good condition with no rips or tears, dash is nice with no cracks, all the gauges work properly, a Kenwood Bluetooth stereo /CD player has been installed. The door panels & kick panels are nice, stock color matched rubber floor mat shows very little wear. All the glass is good, windows are hand crank and operate correctly. Truck is equipped with factory AC, PS, PB. Truck is also equipped with a receiver hitch for towing.
The truck has been professionally lowered 4” in front with springs & 6” in rear with C Notch (see photos). Rolls on retro look Riddler Wheels 18” x 8” front with 235/50ZR18s & 18” x 9.5” rear with 265/50ZR18s. This gives the Chevy a very clean yet aggressive look! Disc front and rear drums provide plenty of stopping power!
Powered by a GM Performance ZZ3 5.7 Liter 350 inch 345+ Horsepower Crate Engine with aluminum heads, 4 barrel carburetor, New Finned Rocker Covers and Oval Air Filter cover, tuned Headers flow through dual exhaust. A pro built 700-R4 transmission with shift kit gets the power to the rear differential running 3.42 gear ratio. As you would guess this makes for a fantastic sounding and very strong running truck. Truck was originally delivered with a 4.3 liter V6 and automatic. Not sure exactly when engine swap was done but going by data I was able to find (see CARFAX) my guess would be early 2010 (2nd owner?) at over 218,000 miles….?
Current odometer reading is 267,109. A complete tune up, oil & filter, fluid check was performed just prior to my purchase in early February 2020. New finned aluminum valve covers, oval air cleaner cover & air filter element just installed. I would not hesitate to jump in this truck and drive it cross country! I will not guarantee truck will pass emissions test.
